In our holiday villages in the Southern Alps, you can enjoy a range of free on-site leisure activities, including wake-up sessions, snowshoe outings (one free per week, excluding equipment), trips to discover the region, and evening entertainment (musical, regional, games and tournaments, shows, dancing). Depending on the village, you can also take advantage of a free shuttle service to nearby resorts, go for walks or relax in the sauna! 

The resorts also offer a range of activities and services, such as a tobogganing area and dog-sleigh rides. Depending on the resort, there are also snowshoe outings, farm visits, ski-joering, sightseeing tours, signposted footpaths, pedestrian chairlifts, cinema, paragliding, mountain twister, snowmobiling, etc.

If you're choosing the Southern Alps as your winter destination, you're not far wrong. Firstly, because there's a good chance of sunshine, but also because our 3 holiday villages in this surprise pack are right at the foot of the slopes! 

• Praloup: With its link to La Foux d'Allos, Praloup is the king of resorts in the Ubaye Valley, in the heart of a protected valley with an exceptional setting: 180 km of pistes, 81 slopes, 43 ski lifts, 6 secure free-ride zones, 1 snow park at an altitude of 2330 m for downhill skiing, 30 km of cross-country ski trails at Larche and a Nordic site at St Paul sur Ubaye (45 minutes' drive). 
• Montgenèvre: For downhill skiing, 2 areas are available: the Voie Lactée (Montgenèvre, Clavière, Cesena, San Sicario, Sestière, Sauze d'Oulx) with 400 km of runs, 145 runs in total, 92 ski lifts, and Montgenèvre/Monts de la lune (Clavière/Italy) with 110 km of runs, 38 ski lifts. For cross-country skiing, Montgenèvre/Clavière has 17 km of marked trails, while Val Clarée has 75 km of Nordic trails. 
• Le Sauze: A village resort situated at an altitude of between 1400 and 2450 m, Le Sauze/Super Sauze is the perfect combination of mountain elements: snow, blue skies, sunshine and pure air for a great holiday! With 65km of pistes, 37 slopes, 22 lifts including a new 6-seater detachable chairlift, a 6.5-hectare snow park with 3 slopes, and a permanent training stadium, the resort is sure to delight snow lovers! Cross-country skiing is also available, with 30km of pistes at Larche or St Paul sur Ubaye (45 mins).
