If you're one of those people who likes to take a snowshoe walk in the snow during the holidays, you've come to the right place!
Snowshoeing is free!
When you're on holiday in one of our villages, even the most inexperienced can (re)discover snowshoeing, because snowshoes make it easier and more fun to walk in the snow. What's more, so that everyone can enjoy the experience, there's a free snowshoe walk (excluding equipment) every week in all our VTF holiday villages. Great fun!
The winter holiday dedicated to snowshoeing
The most motivated will be able to head off to one of the 3 destinations we've selected, for snowshoeing in the heart of 3 different regions and their special places. We suggest snowshoeing in :
- the Beaufortain at Arêches
- the Doubs at Métabief, close to the Jura mountains
- the Ubaye valley at Le Sauze.
You'll be accompanied by professional guides on your snowshoe outings, which can be either full-day or half-day, with a tailored programme to be found on each village page.

A list of itineraries
of varying length and difficulty, signposted and suitable for snowshoeing, available to holidaymakers at reception.
Equipment for hire on site
(while stocks last): snowshoes and trekking poles or agreements with hire companies at preferential rates.
Loan
of backpacks, compasses and binoculars (subject to availability)

A list of guides is available at reception, with prices to be paid in advance.
